Common questions
How much does a web app cost?
Web apps start around $6,000 and scale with complexity. The cost drivers are how many distinct user flows exist, whether you need payments or third-party integrations, and how much data modelling is involved. Simple internal tools can come in lower, and I will tell you if that is the case.
How long does it take?
From about 4 weeks for a focused first version. Larger platforms run 6 to 12 weeks. I build in stages so you see working software early rather than waiting for one big reveal at the end.
Can you replace our spreadsheet?
That is one of the most common reasons people get in touch. If a spreadsheet has become the thing your business runs on, and it is now too fragile or too shared to trust, a small internal tool usually pays for itself quickly.
Do you handle payments and subscriptions?
Yes. Stripe integration covering one-off payments, subscriptions, invoices, failed payment handling and webhooks. I have built this end to end, including the automated flows around it.
What technology do you use?
TypeScript and JavaScript, React on the front end, Node.js on the server, PostgreSQL for data, and serverless deployment. These are mainstream, well-supported choices, so another developer can pick the project up if they ever need to.
Can it grow after launch?
Yes, that is the point of building it properly. Version one covers what you need now, and the structure supports adding to it. Ongoing work can be a care plan or quoted per feature.
