How much does a custom website cost?
A multi-page business website typically runs $1,000 to $4,000. A single landing page is $600 to $1,500. The main cost drivers are how many unique pages you need, how much custom functionality sits behind them, and how much of your content is ready. You get a fixed quote before any work starts.
How long does it take?
A landing page takes about a week. A five-page business site takes 2 to 3 weeks. Timelines depend heavily on how quickly content and feedback come back, so projects where you already have your copy and images move considerably faster.
Do I own the website?
Yes, completely. The source code, the design, and the domain are yours. There is no licence and no monthly fee required to keep the site online. If you want a different developer to take over later, you hand them the files.
Can I edit it myself afterwards?
Simple text and image changes are straightforward and I include a short written guide. If you expect to post often, such as a blog or product listings, I can build in a content management system so you edit through an admin panel without touching code.
Why not just use Squarespace or Wix?
If you need a simple online presence quickly and cheaply, a builder is genuinely the better call and I will tell you so. Custom makes sense when the site is a core part of how you get customers: it loads faster, ranks better, and does exactly what you need rather than what a template allows.
Do you provide hosting?
I do not resell hosting, but I set everything up on your own accounts so you stay in control. Most sites I build run on free or low-cost hosting such as Vercel or Netlify, which usually costs nothing for a standard business website.
